Our Teachers
A vital component of successful piano study is good instruction. Our teachers are carefully selected for their ability as pianists, their expertise in piano pedagogy, and their giftedness as teachers. The teacher who works with your child will be able to play your child's pieces at sight and will understand how to teach him technique. Most importantly, she will know how to encourage and motivate him as he grows in piano skills.

Abigail Sevcik
A senior piano major at Mount Union College studying with Dr. Maira Liliestedt, Abi has demonstrated exceptional sensitivity as a musician and remarkable skill and enthusiasm as a teacher. Upon graduation she plans to continue private piano study before proceeding on to graduate work in piano. Abi specializes in beginner and intermediate students and co-teaches group lessons.
